(b. 1980) Carine Quadros was born in Divinopolis, Minas Gerais. She has a degree in drama from Gamma Filho University in Rio de Janeiro and fashion from the European Institute of Design. Carine started painting at an early age and had her first exhibition at age 17 in her hometown. In Luxembourg, Carine studied at the School of Contemporary Art and from there began to produce modern and contemporary art. Her style is abstract, mostly done in acrylic as well as oil, pastel, pencil, pen, and even makeup. Currently, her work expresses a demonstration on the current state of the economy in Brazil, where politicians steal and depreciate a country so beautiful and with so much natural wealth.
